We’re still in the early days of the new Disney Genie suite of offerings at Walt Disney World, but for this article, we wanted to take a look at the attractions that have “sold out” and been unavailable to select as either a Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane attraction, or as an Individual Lightning Lane attraction selection. We’ll prioritize the list below with the attraction that sold out the quickest, down to the attraction that sold out the latest in the day. Data courtesy of thrill-data.com.
It’s worth noting that while the attractions listed below “sold out” at some point during the day, the ability to purchase Disney Genie+ will never sell out regardless of specific attraction availability.
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom has the most Lightning Lane-enabled attractions of any Walt Disney World theme park, and also has a handful of attractions that have “sold out”.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, more than any other Disney World theme park, has proven to have a more competitive landscape of Lightning Lane selections.
October 20

- Slinky Dog Dash
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run (inconsistent late afternoon availability)
October 21
- Rise of the Resistance (Individual Lightning Lane)
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run (inconsistent late afternoon availability)
- Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster (inconsistent evening availability)
October 22
- Rise of the Resistance (Individual Lightning Lane)

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been the most relaxed park to use Disney Genie+ at in the opening days, but mostly because overall wait times have been low.
Technically, Kilimanjaro Safaris has “sold out” in the 30 minutes before the attraction closes for the night, but with wait times in the 5-10 minute range, it shouldn’t impact your day.
EPCOT
EPCOT has similarly been relaxed compared to Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The only attraction that we’ve seen have very limited afternoon availability has been Test Track. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which offers Individual Lightning Lane access as well as mandating a virtual queue for non-paid riders, has been selling out.
