What’s Happening at Walt Disney World This Summer

The Florida Resident ticket offer arrives alongside a packed summer slate at Walt Disney World, anchored by Cool Kids’ Summer, a limited-time series of experiences across the resort geared toward families and younger guests.

Here is a look at what is new and coming soon across the parks:

  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has debuted with new magic, including the spectacular Rainbow Caverns, along with a fully replaced track and passenger trains.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

  • Beginning May 22, The Mandalorian and Grogu join guests on a new mission aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Crews will track down ex-Imperial officers throughout the galaxy in an exhilarating chase sequence aboard the iconic ship.
  • On May 26, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens with high-speed thrills, five new rocking soundtracks (plus bonus tracks), and plenty of lovable Muppets fun.

EPCOT

  • Also beginning May 26, Soarin’ Across America flies into EPCOT as part of Disney Celebrates America, a celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary. The brand-new film highlights the country’s natural beauty in a new voyage across America.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

  • Another addition coming May 26, is Bluey’s Wild World, introducing the popular heeler to the Conservation Station area of the theme park
