Shanghai Disneyland Reportedly Begins Simulations for Reopening

As you might know, Shanghai Disneyland has been closed since late January as a way to help slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) virus. The domestic theme parks followed suit in March, leading to all Disney theme parks to be closed worldwide. With the Coronavirus pandemic reportedly seeing an improvement in China, Shanghai Disneyland has begun to simulate a reopening and procedures that would likely be in place when the park officially reopens to guests.

According to Twitter posts from @gourmetdyy, Shanghai Disneyland has begun to simulate the park entry experience recently.

Stickers have also been placed in the security area to encourage social distancing.

Other posts suggest that Shanghai Disneyland has begun to test parades and a castle light show in recent days as well.

A couple of days ago, internal testing of theater seating also commenced.
