After a few days of a temporary box, a proper wayfinding sign has been installed for a recently completed section of World Celebration at EPCOT. The style of the sign matches others found in the area, and it should help guests navigate the front half of EPCOT, which has plenty of walkways now that more of the World Celebration area is open to guests.
We’ll start with a look at the north side of the sign, which faces World Celebration Gardens (behind us), and has World Showcase in the distance. The directions here are pretty easy, left to World Discovery (Test Track, Mission: SPACE, Cosmic Rewind), right to World Nature (The Land and The Seas, as well as The Imagination Pavilion), and straight to World Showcase.
The side of the sign contains the name of the neighborhood you’re currently in. The blue color scheme should also be a hint as to where you are.
On the south side of the sign (looking north), we can see a bit more information, including some (Mickey & Friends meet and greet) that’s still hidden behind black tape.
Somewhat interestingly, CommuniCore Hall is not included. It’s possible that the main draw of the still-under-construction area will be the year-round meet and greet, while the seasonal offerings at CommuniCore Hall will be less of a draw. When it opens sometime this year, CommuniCore Hall will be home to seasonal Festival displays, and the CommuniCore Plaza party area will host bands and live entertainment.
