Walt Disney World Raises Theme Park Ticket Prices in 2025 & 2026

|

In addition to increasing prices on Walt Disney World Annual Passes, Disney has increased pricing on regular theme park tickets as well. Tracking ticket price increases used to be much easier because the ticket product was much simpler. Now, Walt Disney World not only has date-based ticket pricing, but per-park ticket pricing as well, following a late 2022 update to the ticketing structure. Logically, per-park pricing makes a ton of sense, but it makes tracking ticket price changes much more difficult. That said, we’ve done some spot checking, and prices are up across the board. Here’s what we found.

Walt Disney World Raises Theme Park Ticket Prices

Before we get to the ticket price increases, it’s worth noting that tickets are now available through the end of 2026. Previously, tickets were only available through October 2026, but Walt Disney World has unlocked tickets through the end of next year.

Ok, with that out of the way, here’s a look at some of the ticket price increases that guests can expect to find. Note that these price increases are effective immediately, but they do not affect tickets already purchased.

Magic Kingdom Ticket Price Increases

Magic Kingdom is somewhat in a state of transformation. Right now, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are closed for updates. Of course, the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island are being prepared for demolition to welcome a Cars-themed area and a Villains Land. That said, there is still plenty of magic to be found at the world’s busiest theme park.

Happily Ever After, while familiar, is still a world-class fireworks show. The new Disney Starlight nighttime parade is lighting up the streets of Magic Kingdom nightly, and TRON Lightcycle Run continues to be a big draw in addition to classic attractions and offerings.

The cheapest ticket to Magic Kingdom actually remains the same at $139 on two dates in 2026, down from five dates in 2025. The most expensive ticket has gone from $199 to $209 per person during the peak holiday period.

In between those extremes, ticket prices have jumped about $5 per ticket on any given day at Magic Kingdom.

EPCOT Ticket Price Increases

EPCOT is the most settled theme park at Walt Disney World right now. There is no major construction following years and years of work to bring new attractions online and to reimagine existing spaces.

EPCOT is a pretty solid offering right now. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is one of the best attractions at Walt Disney World, and other “recent” additions such as Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and a refreshed Test Track, round out a solid attraction lineup. Of course, EPCOT’s biggest draws are the seasonal festivals that are nearly year-round at this point, and they will continue into 2026.

In terms of EPCOT ticket price increases, we’re looking at similar price hikes as Magic Kingdom. You can expect that most tickets have increased by some $5. The cheapest ticket price has increased from $129 to $139, while the most expensive ticket price has jumped from $194 to $209. If we remove the very popular December 31st date, that “most expensive” price goes from $189 to $199.

At Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, you can expect the cheapest and most expensive dates to jump $10, while other dates usually fall in the $5 range. Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom did not increase their lowest-priced tickets at $139 and $119, respectively, but did see a bump on the upper end of the pricing scale.

Hollywood Studios Ticket Price Increases

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests will find some of the most highly themed lands at Walt Disney World, including Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land. In between riding popular attractions, guests will spot construction walls as Disney works to bring an all-new Monsters Inc. land to life, and as Disney reimagines Animation Courtyard into the Walt Disney Studios Lot.

In terms of ticket prices, it’s more of the same, with typical price increases in the $5 range. Similar to the other parks, the cheapest ticket will jump $10 from $139 to $149. The most expensive ticket will also jump $10 from $194 to $204.

Animal Kingdom Ticket Price Increases

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is also in a state of transformation, but the ride roster will be trimmed down to an almost unacceptably low level starting in February 2026 when the DINOSAUR attraction closes permanently. Guests will still be able to enjoy world-class attractions such as Avatar Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and Expedition Everest, but it might feel a bit more claustrophobic in the park with DinoLand USA closed off.

I can’t decided if Walt Disney World is keeping the lowest-priced ticket at the same level ($119) because there will be less to do, or if they just want to keep pointing to that price in an effort to try and show that they can be “affordable”. Either way, the lowest-priced ticket will not see an increase and remain at $119 for now.

At the upper end of the ticket prices, we don’t see a similar restraint from Disney. The highest-priced ticket will follow the $10 increase trend seen at the other Walt Disney World theme parks, jumping from $174 to $184.

I guess that price increase answers my earlier question. Disney isn’t keeping the $119 price tag because there will be less to do at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Instead, they’re keeping that price point just to point at it as showing that they can be “affordable”.

In between the low end and high end of ticket prices, we see $5 increases like the other theme parks.

Between an increase in ticket prices, an increase in the Lightning Lane skip-the-line product, an increase in merchandise prices, and a (relatively modest) increase in food and drink prices, going to Walt Disney World isn’t getting any cheaper.
