The next phase of the Disney’s Beach Club Resort refurbishment is underway as work on a soft goods refresh of the rooms is nearly complete. While visiting the EPCOT area resorts recently, we noticed that the second-floor tarps had been removed from the Beach Club lobby and that there was a refresh of the guest rooms and public spaces.
Officially, here’s what Disney World has said about the refurbishment:
Disney’s Beach Club Resort & Villas Refurbishment
From January 7, 2023 through late this fall, Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Villas will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Resort amenities will remain available for your enjoyment. While you may see or hear construction during daytime hours, you should not hear noise from Guest rooms between dusk and 9:00 AM.
We’ll start in the lobby, where the front desk area and bell services are behind walls for the next phase of the lobby refurb. The final stage will be a soft goods refurbishment of the lobby, which is when we’ll start to see a lot of the visual changes.
With the second floor of the resort now accessible, here’s a look at the recent refurbishment of the space. Most notably, there is new carpeting throughout. Here’s a look at some of the second floor public spaces and guest hallways. Guest rooms have also received a soft goods refurbishment, which means new furniture and room dressing. The rooms themselves remain largely the same.
