Continuing our look at Walt Disney World from the air, we take a look at some land clearing being done for a gondola station between Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort.

A tighter shot shows that trees and land have been cleared.
So what can we expect in this area? A look at the permits show a rather large building that is rumored to be a large station with possible storage or maintenance capabilities for the upcoming gondola system. The gondola system will connect Pop Century and Caribbean Beach Resorts to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here’s a look at the permit and then the highlighted building in green.
The gondola system is expected to be operational in time for the opening of Star Wars Land in 2019.
