UPDATE: France Pavilion Restaurants Planned to Reopen at EPCOT, No Timeline Given

Earlier this afternoon, we wrote an article that JBI LLC executive director Eric Weistroffer said that it wasn’t a matter of “when” but “if” the France pavilion restaurants would reopen at EPCOT. The article put out by Scott Joseph has since been updated:

Note: A previous version of this article featured a statement from Eric Weistroffer who jokingly questioned whether the France pavilion restaurants would reopen. JBI has every intention of reopening the restaurants when it is safe and reasonable to do so.

The France pavilion was situated to be the big draw this summer at EPCOT with the debut of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure likely planned for earlier this summer, if it hadn’t been for the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to a new attraction, guests would have been treated to an authentic crêperie as well. Now, an opening date for both the attraction and crêperie is fleeting, with Disney taking down the “Summer 2020” signage around the pavilion.
