According to an update to the state of California COVID-19 dashboard, Orange County California has slipped back to the Purple “Widespread” color tier in the Blueprint for a Safer Economy.
As a reminder, Orange County needs to get to the yellow “minimal” tier for Disneyland to reopen its gates.
The move to the purple tier comes after California Governor Gavin Newsom said that a county will move back in tier color after one week of bad data as opposed to two weeks of poor numbers.
Obviously Disneyland is a long way from opening, but what does this mean for currently operating businesses and locations in Downtown Disney? Here’s a rundown:
- Bars (where no meals provided) – Closed
- Clothing and shoe stores – 25% capacity
- Hotels and lodging – can open with modifications
- Jewelry stores – 25% capacity
- Restaurants (dine-in) – Can open outdoors only with modifications
- Restaurants (take-out and delivery) – can open with modifications
- Retailers – 25% capacity
- Theme parks – Closed
