Spaceship Earth Experiencing Extended, Delayed Opening at EPCOT Today

UPDATE (2pm): Spaceship Earth has opened. Our original story continues below.

Spaceship Earth, which has had some reliability issues, is experiencing an extended delayed opening at EPCOT today. The attraction did not open with the park this morning, and Cast Members are not sure when it may open. Cast are advising guests to enjoy other attractions such as Test Track and Frozen Ever After.

We spotted maintenance Cast Members leaving the attraction a little while ago, so hopefully that’s a good sign that whatever wasn’t working has been addressed.

Disney elected to indefinitely postpone a planned refurbishment and update for the attraction after COVID-19 shut down the Walt Disney World theme parks earlier this year.
