Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will play host to the surfing competition for the 2022 Special Olympics this June. This is the first time that surfing has been offered at the Special Olympics. Here’s a look at the surfing competition schedule, which will take place before the park opens and after the park closes:
- June 6, 2022 6:30 am – 9:30 am
- June 7, 2022 6:30 am – 9:30 am
- June 8, 2022 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm
The Typhoon Lagoon contains North America’s largest outdoor wave pool and even allows guests to book surf lessons or private surf lessons.
