• From January 2025 through April 2025, Fantasia Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. During this time, Guests are welcome to swim in the Duck Pond Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
• From September 8 through late October, the Fantasia kiddie pool and water play area at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be closed for maintenance. During this time, the Fantasia Feature Pool and Duck Pond Pool will remain open and Guests are also welcome to use the kiddie pools at Disney’s All-Star Music and All-Star Sports Resorts. Guests may see or hear maintenance activity throughout the construction period.

2025

• From August 4 through mid-October 2025, Maestro Mickey’s located at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort will undergo a phased refurbishment. During this time, the store will remain open. However, Guests may see and hear construction in the area until the work is complete.

2026

• From January 2026 until late April 2026, the Surfboard Bay Pool and the kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort will be closed for maintenance. During this time, the Grand Slam Leisure Pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports will continue to be available. Additionally, Guests are welcome to use the other pools throughout Disney’s All-Star Resorts, including the Calypso Pool, Piano Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort; and the Fantasia Pool, Duck Pond Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.

2026

• From October 2025 through May 2026, Guest rooms at Kidani Village at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will undergo refurbishment, followed by refurbishment work at Jambo House from May 2026 through January 2027. During these times, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area. All amenities will remain available throughout the refurbishment.

2025

• Beginning July 7 and continuing through the end of July 2025, the Zebra Trail terrace at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see or hear work taking place construction in the area.

2026

• From January 26, 2026 to Early May 2026, The Bay Cove Pool, the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will temporarily be closed for maintenance. The Bay Lake Pool, the feature pool, the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will remain open for Guests to enjoy.

2025

• From September 2024 through July 2026, refurbishments will occur in select areas of Disney’s Contemporary Resort—including Bay Lake Tower and the Convention Center. Please allow for extra travel time. Guests may also see and hear construction during their stay.

2026 & 2027

• Disney’s Beach Club Resort is undergoing visible exterior maintenance through late 2027, which will impact views from various locations throughout the Resort hotel and, at times, require alternate paths of travel. Guests may see or hear work in the area during daytime hours until the refurbishment is complete.

• From January 2025 through June 2025, Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be closed for routine maintenance (Photos of pool refurbishment). Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. During this time, Guests are welcome to swim at the Tidal, Admiral and Dunes Cove leisure pools.
• Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be undergoing routine exterior maintenance from early June through September 2025 late November 2025. During this time, the porte cocheres will be closed. While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available, and most Resort amenities will continue to be offered.

2027

• From January 11, 2027, through April 2027, the Luna Park Pool, the Luna Park Crazy Play Area and Leaping Horse Libations at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see and hear work taking place during daytime hours. However, the Villas Pool and the Inn Pool will remain open for Guests to enjoy.

2026

• Beginning late November 2025 and continuing throughout 2026, refurbishment work will take place in select areas of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. While Guests may see or hear work during daytime hours, most Resort amenities—including dining, recreation, and merchandise locations—will remain available.

2025

• From January 2025 through May 2025, the merchandise locations along Disney’s BoardWalk will be refurbished in phases. Two merchandise locations will remain available for Guests throughout the refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see and hear construction activity in the area.

• From February 9 through early March 2026, the Fuentes del Morro Water Play Area at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. The Fuentes del Morro feature pool and all other amenities will remain open during the work. Guests may see or hear maintenance activity during daytime hours.

2025

• Beginning January 13, the Fuentes del Morro Feature Pool and Aquatic Play Area will be closed for routine maintenance and is expected to reopen at the end of January. All other resort pools will be available.
• Beginning March 24, 2025, Sebastian’s Bistro will be closed for refurbishment and is expected to reopen at the end of March. Guests may see and hear construction in the area until work is completed. While the restaurant is closed, we invite you to enjoy the many other dining options at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.

2026 & 2027 

• From August 10, 2026, through late September 2027, the Convention Center at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will undergo a planned refurbishment. The El Centro Corridor and surrounding areas will also undergo a refurbishment tied to this work.

  Work will be completed in phases, with individual spaces being temporarily inaccessible at times. The work will take place overnight to help minimize impacts to daily operations. During this time, Guests may see or hear construction activity in the area.

2027

• Through late 2027, refurbishment work will occur in phases throughout select areas of Disney’s Contemporary Resort—including Bay Lake Tower and the Main Tower atrium. Additionally, Main Tower exterior maintenance may impact views from various locations throughout the Resort hotel and, at times, require alternate paths of travel. Guests may see or hear construction during daytime hours.

2026

• From Jan. 26 through early May, the Bay Cove Pool, the Cove Bar, the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will temporarily be closed for maintenance. The Bay Lake Pool, the feature pool, the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will remain open for Guests to enjoy.

2025

• From Sept. 2024 to Sept. 2025 July 2026 (UPDATE: extended to July 2026) late 2027 (extended again), refurbishments will occur in phases throughout select areas of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, including the atrium and Bay Lake Tower. Guests may also see and hear construction during their stay.

2025

• From mid-May 2025 to September 2025, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo refurbishment. While all Resort amenities will remain available, you may notice refurbishment work during daytime hours.

2026

• Erosion control work will take place along the sidewalk on Big Pine Trail beginning in early Nov. 2025 through Feb. 2026. Signage will be in place to help redirect Guests to available travel routes. Please be aware the Guests may hear or see construction in the area during daytime hours.
• From early May 2025 through mid-2026, construction will take place near the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area. The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool will remain open for Guests to enjoy. During this time, seating availability around the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool may be limited and Guests may see or hear construction in the area. Guests using bus transportation should follow posted signage to reach the pool area.

2025

• Beginning early May 2025, construction will take place near the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area. The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool will remain open for Guests to enjoy. During this time, seating availability around the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool may be limited and Guests may see or hear construction in the area. Guests using bus transportation should follow posted signage to reach the pool area.
• From early October to early late November 2025, the lobby at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will undergo renovations. Guests may hear or see maintenance in the area until work is complete, and the check-in area may be moved to a modified location nearby. Upon arrival, please follow posted signage and reach out to a Cast Member if assistance is needed.

2027

• Renovations at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will continue in select areas, including the porte cochere, through early 2027. Guests may see or hear refurbishment work during daytime hours or need to take alternate paths of travel.

2025 & 2026

• From mid-July through October 2026, Grand Floridian Cafe will temporarily close for a refresh. During this time, brunch will continue to be offered but will temporarily move to Cítricos. All other dining locations at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will remain available for Guests to enjoy. Guests may see or hear refurbishment work during daytime hours and may need to take alternate paths of travel.
• The Courtyard Pool, spa, and Courtyard Pool Bar at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are scheduled to be closed from January 20, 2025, through late February 2025, for routine maintenance on the Courtyard Pool building.
• As part of the ongoing enhancements at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, phased updates to the lobby, convention center and select areas will begin April 14. Refurbishment work will continue in select areas through mid-2026. Guests may see or hear work during daytime hours. Efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, and most pools, dining, and other amenities will remain available for Guests to enjoy. 
• As renovations continue at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the gingerbread display will not be available during the holiday season in 2025. 

2026

• From March 16 through early June, Hospitality House at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will undergo exterior maintenance work. Guests may see or hear refurbishment work during daytime hours, and at times may be directed to take alternate paths of travel.
• Now through late April 2026, the South Point Pool and Spa, BBQ area and playground at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. During this time, Guests may see or hear maintenance activity during daytime hours and are encouraged to use the Sandcastle Pool or one of the resort’s other two leisure pools – the Turtle Pond Pool and Miller’s Road Pool.
• From early January through early Feb. 2026, the Turtle Pond Pool, Turtle Pond Pool Spa, the BBQ area and the playground at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. During this time, Guests are encouraged to use the Sandcastle Pool or one of the resort’s other two leisure pools – the South Point Pool and Miller’s Road Pool. Guests may see or hear maintenance activity in the area during daytime hours.

2025

• Beginning September 29 through late November, the Miller’s Road leisure pool at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. During this time, Guests may see or hear refurbishment work in the area. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Sandcastle feature pool and the Old Turtle Pond and South Point leisure pools during the temporary closure.

2026

• From May 11 through late June, the boat dock at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will undergo routine maintenance. The dock will be closed and boat transportation to suspended from May 11-June 5.
• From April 23 through late June, updates will be made to the exterior roofing at Wailulu Bar & Grill in the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Wailulu Bar & Grill will remain open for service during the work. Each day from open until 5 p.m., the bar will offer walk-up service only, and seating will be unavailable. Seating will resume from 5 p.m. to close. While construction activity will be noticeable during daytime hours, efforts will be made to minimize disruptions.
• From mid‑April through late June, Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will be temporarily closed due to refurbishment work at the Grand Ceremonial House. Guests may see or hear refurbishment work during daytime hours until the work is complete.
• From May 2025 through 2026, some areas of the Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are being refurbished. This work includes the reconfiguration of the front entrance roadway and bus area. While construction activity will be noticeable during daytime hours, efforts will be made to minimize disruptions. All Resort dining, pools and amenities will remain available. Additionally, some views of the theme parks and other surrounding areas may be impacted. Please allow for extra travel time when arriving at or leaving the Resort.

2026

• (Announcement | Permits) From late March 2025 to mid-February 2026, guest rooms at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will undergo refurbishment. While all resort amenities will remain available, you may notice construction during daytime hours.
• From April 13 through late April 2026, the kiddie pool deck at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. During this time, the Hippy Dippy Pool and all other amenities will remain available. Guests may see or hear maintenance activity in the area during daytime hours.

• Refurbishment work is happening at the Everything POP Food Court through April 2025. The full menu and all seating will remain available for Guests to enjoy. During this time, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area.
• From July 28 through early October mid-November, the lobby at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will be getting a retro-inspired refresh. The lobby will remain open during construction and all amenities will be available. Guests may hear or see maintenance in the area until work is complete.
• From September 8 through mid-October early November, Petals Pool Bar at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will be closed for refurbishment. During this time, a temporary pool bar with a modified menu will be available next to Petals Pool Bar. Guests may see and hear work taking place during daytime hours.

2025

• From May 2024 through Spring 2025, some Guest rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be under refurbishment. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. Most Resort hotel amenities will remain available.
• From August 25 through the end of September, the lobby at Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter will undergo a refresh. The lobby will remain open during construction, and all amenities will be available. Guests may see or hear maintenance in the area during daytime hours until work is complete.

• From February 16–19, the S’il Vous Play interactive water play area at Disney’s Riviera Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. All pools at the resort will remain open during this work. Guests may see or hear maintenance activity in the area until the work is complete.

As part of this work, the security kiosk will be expanded from late March through mid-October. The entrance will remain open, though lane closures may occur at times.
